Workman named ‘Best Property Manager’ and ‘Best Refurbishment Team’ at the RPI Awards 2019

The Hermes Responsible Property Investment awards took place in London last night where Workman was named ‘Best Property Manager’ and ‘Best Refurbishment Team’ and were also ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Environmental Sustainability Initiative’ category.

The awards ceremony included insight from a panel of senior figures from UKGBC, BRE Group and Carbon Credentials, moderated by Tatiana Bosteels, Director of Responsibility, private markets.

The Building Consultancy team received the ‘Best Refurbishment Team’ award for overseeing the extensive refurbishment works at the Grade II listed Dantzic building, transforming the property into 45,000 square foot Grade A office space at the iconic NOMA development.

The property management team received the over-all award for Property Management, recognising the team’s commitment to delivering a best-in-class service.

ESG recognition

Workman was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Environmental Sustainability Initiative’ category for our work at 26/28 Hammersmith, where the team worked hard to improve and reduced the property’s environmental impact. This included introducing the ‘Parcels not Pollution’ courier service and an overhaul of the recycling and waste management procedures.

A fantastic achievement

This is a fantastic achievement for the teams involved and the fact that the awards cover a range of disciplines including environmental performance, community engagement and project management is a real testament to the knowledge, experience and skill of all involved.

Celebrating our services

We are thrilled to have received the awards for both our property management and building consultancy teams, the two core services that we have focused on since the firm was established in 1983.
