Hedley Jones, Partner in our Building Consultancy division, is to take up the new role of Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) – Refurbishment & Development within our ESG team. The move sees Hedley add his extensive technical construction expertise, along with substantial knowledge of related sustainability issues, to our ESG services.

Hedley’s specialist building surveying and project management experience will enhance the skills of our existing ESG team in this rapidly developing area, providing the expertise necessary to deliver true end-to-end ESG services across the whole asset lifecycle.

Hedley will provide practical advice to clients to ensure initiatives are technically feasible, practically deliverable and cost effective, particularly within construction and refurbishment projects. This new capability will further strengthen our ability to deliver environmental, social and governance solutions to real estate investors and occupiers. Commenting on the move, Hedley said; “The concise, distilled information borne out of our comprehensive technical knowledge will enable our partners to achieve their environmental goals, within their commercial parameters.”
