News 29th November 2023 ESG services

Workman has grown its ESG team with a series of three new appointments, as reported by CoStar News.

Joining the team are Olivia Sawyer MRICS, ESG Building Surveyor, along with Amy Duffy and James McGrath, both ESG Account Managers. This consistent investment in the team reflects continued growth in demand for Workman’s ESG services and for dedicated resource to support the breadth of clients’ ever-increasing sustainability requirements.

To date, the Workman ESG team has delivered Net Zero Asset Plans for more than 5m sq. ft of commercial real estate. Meanwhile, the ESG Project Advisor service is going from strength to strength, with more than 3m sq. ft of developments under action, £230m of which involves the refurbishment of existing assets.

Vicky Cotton, ESG Director at Workman LLP, said: “Once again, we are investing in growing our ESG team with multiple new hires to ensure we’re able to support our clients to achieve their elevated sustainability goals. With the UK Net Zero Carbon Standard on the near horizon, today’s investors are looking for dedicated resource to manage and drive their ESG progress towards Net Zero, while also ensuring that goals such as Fitwel and GRESB are met or exceeded. I look forward to working with our new team members Olivia, Amy, and James, as we deliver the next-generation ESG agenda for our clients.”
