As reported in Property Week and Firestarters we are delighted to announce the launch of a new flexible Managed Space service in partnership with Kitt, a leading managed office operator. The first location for the new Managed Space service jointly delivered by Workman and Kitt has been launched in Farringdon with a number of new locations in the pipeline.
Complimentary expertise to deliver managed space solution
The new service will enable clients to offer a flexible, fully outsourced, managed workspace product to prospective occupiers for a simple all-inclusive rent. It will combine our property management experience and infrastructure with Kitt’s marketing, leasing and workplace strategy expertise.
Our Occupier Services team will provide all operational hard and soft services for occupiers within their workspace. Workman and Kitt will also collaborate to provide a customised design and fit-out of the occupier’s space and ongoing management to enhance occupiers’ experience.
The Occupier Services team already services over 500,000 sq. ft of occupier space for more than 50 corporate occupiers, while Kitt currently hosts 40 locations across London totalling over 250,000 sq. ft of flexible, managed space on their platform.
By combining the respective operational and flexible leasing expertise of each firm into one Managed Space product, occupiers will benefit from a ‘best-in-class’ approach to create an outstanding customer experience. Clients will benefit from being able to tap into a new audience of occupiers requiring a more flexible, cost-effective solution. They will be able to offer an alternative product that effectively sits between a serviced office and a conventional lease.
Chris Neil, Partner, Workman said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Kitt in bringing this new service to clients. The market has been moving towards shorter, more flexible models with greater levels of customer service for some time, while we know from the growth of our Occupier Services that many customers want to focus on running their business, not the workplace it occupies. Joining forces with Kitt means our clients can offer a complete flexible Managed Space solution to prospective occupiers.”
A number of clients are poised to take up this service and other locations are to launch imminently.”
Joseph Mishon, Head of Expansion at Kitt, said:
“Having explored the potential partnership with Workman, it’s fantastic to be bringing this combined offer to market. The last 12 months has only accelerated demand from occupiers to have a more flexible, tailored experience creating offices that are truly worth leaving home for. By partnering with Workman we think we’ll offer a unique blend of operational, design, management and experiential services to meet this growing need.”
