It was a day full of fast cars and fun at Workman-managed Croxley Park in Watford on 13 February.
Prompted by one of our Graduates, the Workman property management team arranged an epic team building day for occupiers across the park to take part in.
The challenge? Located in The Barn; the Park’s dedicated events space, teams of six raced against the clock throughout the day to change the tyres of a (replica) F1 car. Jumpsuits at the ready, the ‘pressure’ was on as teams competed for the quickest changeover times to earn the coveted pole position and prizes.
After a fun filled day, it was StarLeaf (occupiers in Building 7) whose prowess scooped first prize with an impressive tyre change time of 3.4 seconds. There was also the opportunity for occupiers to test their skills on two F1 driving simulators to round off the experience perfectly.
Sarah Shippey, Park Manager commented “The event was excellent and brought people together in a shared experience with a real cross-section of our occupiers getting involved. It’s just one example of a full calendar of placemaking events that we have running across Croxley Park throughout the year. Workman is really helping to drive the placemaking agenda to create a sense of place and community for our occupiers and as we saw from this event, it’s being really well received. We’re all looking forward to next event here – pancake making on 25th February, of course!”.
