The value of our specialist approach to commercial property management

As a specialist, our property managers are central to our business, which makes a difference in the way that they are valued by the business and how they feel about working in commercial property management. We recruit 20 to 30 graduates per year, train them and work hard to retain them. The success of this approach is reflected in that over half of current Partners started their careers with the firm.

As a result of this focus, our teams are experienced and invested in the success of the firm, made up of people that want to work in property management because they understand that a high standard of customer service makes a difference to our clients and their occupiers. Our staff see that excellent client service will deliver the career progression they seek in a business that is run by property managers.

A flexible approach to service delivery

Our specialist focus on commercial property management, combined with our independence, ownership structure and approach to client service, enables us to adopt an agile approach to the way in which our commercial property management service is delivered, suited to the requirements of each client.

The extent of our role varies greatly between our different management mandates and our willingness to tailor our service to meet the needs of our clients has always been an important part of the success of the firm. Within property management accounting particularly, we recognise that a ‘one size fits all’ service is not what clients with different investment criteria want.

A commitment to the needs of the occupier

We have recognized for some time the need to develop the level of property management service to meet the needs of our clients’ occupiers as their expectations have changed. Successful investors and managers are responding to this change by improving their service delivery to them.

Having experienced and committed property managers that own the relationship with their occupiers is fundamental to this. We also work hard to create an outstanding customer experience for our occupiers and our Building Community campaign showcases the benefits that this commitment to the occupier experience can have.
