Post-acquisition, we completed a major service charge restructuring to resolve historic disputes and bring the regime in line with the RICS guidance.

This involved an in-depth review of all leases, meeting with retailers and their service charge consultants to agree proposed changes to make the service charge regime more equitable. The changes implemented resolved existing disputes, were cost neutral to the landlord for non-recoverable expenditure and meant the service charge regime was industry standard.
