Workman celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2008. It was on 10 December 1983 when the practice commenced business in offices near Marble Arch, London with a staff of three and a single property instruction; an instruction the company still has today.
In the successive years, Workman has grown steadily to become the UK’s leading commercial property management specialist and now has responsibility for properties totaling some 15,000 tenancies and an annual rent collection in excess of £600 million.
Building Consultancy and Facilities Management disciplines were added to the property management business in the late 1980’s thus creating a practice of no known direct comparison.
Despite the particularly challenging current economic climate and the turbulence within the commercial property market, Workman has maintained its well-founded and sustained growth and has continued to recruit to support its new instructions.
